Compensation Amount
Service Uptime Percentage is measured separately for each Shared Filesystem, so the compensation is provided for each Shared Filesystem separately.Definition of Service Unavailability
A Shared Filesystem is considered Unavailable during any two-minute interval in which, for at least one filesystem request type, at least one request was Outstanding, and every such request either failed with an Error, or Hung. In all two-minute intervals in which the unavailability condition is not met, a Shared Filesystem is considered Available. Service Uptime Percentage for a Shared Filesystem in a Reporting Period is calculated as the number of two-minute intervals in which the Shared Filesystem was Available divided by the total number of two-minute intervals in which the Shared Filesystem existed in the Reporting Period, multiplied by 100%. A Shared Filesystem exists from the creation until the deletion of the corresponding resource in the Nebius API, including while it is detached or the Virtual Machine to which it is attached is stopped. The following do not constitute Unavailability of a Shared Filesystem: (a) unavailability of a Virtual Machine itself, which is covered by the Service Level for Compute Cloud; (b) inability to perform operations caused by Customer-side configuration, including guest OS settings, mount options, or detachment or deletion of the Shared Filesystem by Customer or by software acting on Customer’s behalf; (c) performance below the published maximum bandwidth or IOPS values, provided that read and write operations complete; published performance values are upper bounds and do not constitute a warranted service level; (d) failures of individual operations caused by Customer reaching the capacity, file size, or inode limits of the Shared Filesystem, or the Quotas and Limits established for the Service; (e) circumstances listed in Section 3 (Exclusions) of the SLA.Definitions
A request is Outstanding at a given point in time if it was submitted but had received no response, success or Error, by that point. A request is Hung if it was Outstanding for the entire duration of the two-minute interval. Request Type — a category of filesystem operation, as defined by the Virtual File System (VFS) request types. Error — standard POSIX error code, indicating as input/output failure.Web address: https://docs.nebius.com/legal/sla-levels/shared-filesystem Publication date: October 6, 2026 Effective date: October 6, 2026
